We do not have anyone on the team currently using this image.
The original intention of this image was to provide an easier way for people to run the software as the official container is not really just a container and for a novice would require compose to be installed and multiple non docker setup steps.
These are not heavy lifts, but for most casual users they need the one button and done approach , unfortunately their process is a bit more involved. https://snipe-it.readme.io/docs/docker
Given we are not actively testing here it is for he best to get users over to their image as soon as possible so they will have a tested functioning application.
